2021-2022 Movies in the Park Season

The remaining screenings for the 2021/2022 Movies in the Park season have been cancelled due to wet weather and introduction of a new event. We hope to see you at Street Festival 2140 on Saturday 12 March and Saturday 26 March instead! Click for more information about this 5 weekend event which takes place in Homebush West and Homebush Village.

Details for the 2022/2023 Movies in the Park season will be made available later this year.

We are delighted to announce the Covid Safe return of Movies in the Park on select Saturday nights at Strathfield Park!

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a great evening of free entertainment for all the family under the stars.

Screenings will now take place on the top synthetic field closest to Homebush Road. Gates open at 6pm and screenings commence after sunset.

Please ensure you maintain physical distancing and good hand hygiene. 

Stay home if –

  • you’re feeling unwell/have symptoms
  • have tested positive to Covid-19
  • are waiting for results of a Covid-19 test
  • are a close contact of someone with Covid-19.

Movies in the Park is held at Strathfield Park.

Getting there

By public transport – Strathfield Station is the nearest station, which is a 20-25 minute walk to Strathfield Park. The 483 bus runs from Strathfield Station and stops along Wallis Avenue for a short walk to Strathfield Park. For train and bus times, contact the Transport Infoline on 131 500 or visit www.131500.com.au.

By car – free street parking is available on Homebush Road and Chalmers Road.
